Who We’re Looking For

The objective of the Senior Product Manager, Marketplace is to lead and work with a cross-functional team to deliver modern and optimized e-commerce experiences. The Senior PM, Marketplace provides strategic direction that delivers value for end users while ensuring the financial health and growth of the business. The Senior PM, Marketplace draws on their experience to provide business-centered analytical decision making while providing leadership that enables a highly-functioning team to quickly execute on strategic priorities.


What You’ll Accomplish

  • Working with the Director of Product, uses e-commerce subject matter expertise to develop and execute on a strategic Marketplace roadmap
  • Manages the Marketplace roadmap and its resulting scope and priorities to deliver user and business outcomes that positively impact Marketplace growth and financial performance
  • Works closely with Product Coordinator(s) to communicate roadmap priorities and ensure day-to-day execution and development of the backlog
  • Negotiates, manages and communicates scope, timeline and resources such that stakeholders are aligned with expectations, are aware of changes and can deliver on expected outcomes
  • Works closely with the Marketplace Engineering Manager and Technical Lead to scope work and articulate product vision to engineering teams.
  • Collaborates with greater Product team to understand each pillar’s roadmap and manage dependencies with one another
  • Manages third party vendor relationships and deliverables to meet expected outcomes
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to plan, align, and deliver product and feature launches
  • Communicates fluently with business stakeholders and is comfortable negotiating perspectives with little guidance
  • Uses data to recommend, monitor, and track the viability of the roadmap and overall health of the Marketplace



What You’ll Contribute

  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university, or equivalent work experience 
  • 5+ years leadership level Product Management experience
  • 5+ years additional relevant work experience in an e-commerce role
  • Product management certification preferred (i.e. CSPO)
  • Ability to lead through change & adversity 
  • Demonstrate advanced product management knowledge to be able to guide and mentor team members 
  • Proven experience leading projects in an agile environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Demonstrates a strong understanding of web data analytics tools such as Google Analytics e-commerce websites; operations of a large scale, high traffic, international websites; service-oriented architecture and Microservices; APIs; automated testing; continuous deployment
